Test Driving The Skunk...
Halloween....every time I say that word, the childhood song of H-A-double L-O-W-double E-N spells Halloween comes to mind. It’s amazing the things that one remembers. There are few things oddly enough that I do remember from way way back in the day, but that and 588-2300, Empire is another. Now, back to the entry. Halloween is just around the corner and Michelle and I are trying desperately to be on the ball with things like being prepared. We have already purchased Maya’s costume and not to ruin the suspense, but surprise, she’s gonna be a skunk....cause she’s a little stinker.
The family’s favorite time of the year is fall and Halloween is the first official fall holiday, so we get very excited about everything. Michelle has been diligently working with Maya on skunk mannerisms. She now knows how to grab your nose and go pee-ewww. She has also learned how to say pumpkin, or at least a variation of pumpkin, its more like Pum-pai, but she’s getting there.
We’re looking forward to Halloween and the rapidly approaching holidays. We will be hanging with our friends Christina and Justin for Halloween again this year. We will probably walk Maya around to gather candy for the big Michelle monster to eat. Daddy’s gonna come home empty handed unless there are houses trick-or-treating beer.
