I Want My Baby Back...Baby Back...I Want...
Chili’s baby back ribs......The now famous, one-eye smile by Maya...This blog title actually has a double hook, one is in fact the Chili’s jingle, but the other is that I haven’t seen my baby in over a week...jeesh...I knew I would miss the little monkey, but I didn’t realize how much I would really miss her. I missed how she would run around saying “hooray”, or her little laugh during a tickle session, “hi daddy!”, and a host of other things that are decidedly Maya Rose.
Thankfully, Maya is coming home tomorrow and my need for a moose fix will be fulfilled. Michelle and Maya left last Wednesday to head to Kentucky to see Uncle Bob, Aunt Max, Cousin Bobby, Cousin Hannah and their new little one. i then left for Cleveland on Friday. Quick shout out to Jason and Heather. Thanks for inviting me to the wedding, it was a great time and a special one for the two of you. Congrats. While in Cleveland, attending the wedding, I was reminded of just how great my little family is, how important it is to me and how much i missed everyone that wasn’t with me in Cleveland. We are all great people individually, but together we are the Voltron of family life. We fit together just perfectly and make each other better. At least that is the way I feel.
Loving my family, missing my daughter and not looking forward to Plyometrics tonight....
