F.U.N.

Maya had a wonderful start to the month of April.  Cousin’s Isabella and Noah made the long trip from their home in Minneapolis to come to Illinois to stay with their Grandma’s. One of the days that they were with Grandma Mollie, they came to Chicago to see the ubbie cool Shedd Aquarium.  As you can tell, Maya really enjoys seeing her cousins.  They are much bigger and older than she is, so they make for great playthings.  Cousin Isabella likes to fake like she eats Maya’s fingers, which little Maya just loves.  Cousin Noah is big and strong and can already carry little Maya around, which she also loves.

It’s unbelievable how quickly Jim and Lori’s kids are growing up.  They look so big in the photos above and it really hasn’t been that long since I last saw them.  Just goes to show you how much can change, not only in a baby Maya’s age in that time, but in older kids as well.  Life is passing us by at an alarming rate!!!  It’s all good and all exciting though and I’m glad that Maya is getting a chance to see her cousins from the north.

From what I understand, as I was unable to attend the aquarium visit, all had a great time.  I was off traveling.  At the end of March, beginning of April, I as in the midst of a brutal travel schedule for work.  I had 3 weeks of work travel planned with a week of personal travel.  I was beginning to feel like I lived on an airplane.  The good news is that the major project I have been working on passed a major milestone and was viewed as a success by my superiors at work, so all is good.
