Seriously...
Okay, so for real, it has been since February 8th of this year since I last wrote a blog entry. Someone slap my hand PLEASE! I mean, I was doing really well with this blogging thing for almost 2 whole years. Well, I am not at this time going to go back and try to fill in the gaps. Perhaps at some point, I will go back and do that, but hopefully the 8 new picture galleries will take care of that for me. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words right?
So, what has been going on you ask? Well, quite a lot and not so much really. Oxy-moronic yes, but such is the life of yours truly. Well, since my last post, Maya has had her 2nd birthday, she can say her ABC’s, recite dialogue to half of the Pixar movies, sing about 20 songs (maybe not that many), dress herself (mostly) and has been spending a lot of time away from Mommy and Daddy at the grandparents houses. Working on things like potty training, being able to pic out letters and numbers (i.e. pre-cursor to reading) and artsy type activities.
On the Michelle front, she has completed 2-3 more terms since my last post, she is only 100 hours, 1 major paper, 2 exams and 30 herb patients away from officially being done and licensed with her L.A.c, MS in Oriental Medicine and BS in Nutrition...crikey mate....that’s a mouthful....Sadly Brucie (Michelle’s dad) has passed and is hopefully on to bigger and better things (though, not sure what could be bigger or better than hanging with me... :)) - double-chinned for budhha good luck....we miss him already, but are glad that there will not be any additional suffering or pain.
As for me, not much is new. Same job, same pay, same holiday schedule, same PTO, same family, same everything....I’m what you might call the cornerstone of this family...I am rock solid and never change...except for my waistline and my hair...
The other major thing is that we have bought a new house, which is now 6 months old, but still new. We have done a considerable amount of work to the house and have made some significant improvement. Our fireplace is complete, new appliances, new carpet in most of the house, re-walled the kitchen, painted almost every room in the house (13 out of 17 isn’t shabby), done some trim work and some other odds and end type things.
So, that is the Angel update in 60 seconds or less.
