Maya Rose Angel Arrives!
Today will go down in history as one of the most important days in our lives. Today we have managed to safely bring into the world a beautiful little girl. Maya Rose Angel is no longer a hope, dream or wish, she is finally a reality. Born at 5:23 a.m. she weighed 6 lbs. 8 ounces and was 19 inches long. Our little peanut. Michelle and I are so incredibly excited that we can hardly believe what has happened. While we are both incredibly tired (after a 27 hour laboring process, who wouldn’t be) we are looking so forward to all of the great things to come. I am writing this entry after the fact, but wanted to commemorate the event briefly in a post. Perhaps Michelle will write an entry in the near future detailing the birthing experience. It is truly an amazing story of determination, love and triumph. I will just say that Michelle is an amazingly strong woman and one that I am more proud of than I could possibly express in words.
