Thanks Cousin Isabella...and Finally...FOOD!!!
Okay, so this is a combined post. Maya received an awesome little quilt that Cousin Isabella had made for her. The quilt of course had groovy little unicorns all over it and was magnificently put together. Maya would like to send her warmest thanks along with some hugs and kisses to her cousin up in the twin cities. Maya overheard her daddy talking to Uncle Jim about him coming down for something called Lebowski Fest and she is very excited to see her uncle. Thanks again cousin Isabella, Maya loves her quilt!!!
The second part of this post is to provide proof to all of the naysayers and non-believers that Michelle and I are feeding our baby girl real food....well baby food anyway. After months of nothing but the natural stuff, Maya made the big leap (and has leapt since we got back from the holidays) to baby food. She hasn’t kicked the natural habit yet, and probably won’t for some time, but she is on to solids. The photos above are of her eating peas and carrots. She has since this picture was taken gotten a little bit better about getting the food in the mouth as opposed to around it as seen above.
