Odds and Ends
Just a few things today. First I wanted to wish a belated birthday to our friend Chris Johnson. We hope that you are doing well. Additionally, we would like to wish another happy birthday to our friend Marie Lim-Campbell.
On another note, I went to see the Transformers over the weekend. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. While the story was less than perfect, the pacing, acting and animation were spot on. After hearing so much about how the hardcore fans were complaining about some of the creative liberties that Michael Bay was taking, I sort of went in expecting the worst. In reality, it didn’t matter to me that Optimus Prime had some bad boy flames painted on him or that many of the vehicles weren’t exactly as they were in the cartoons. All that really mattered was that I was completely engrossed in the film and the transformations of each of the transformers was top notch. Go check it out if you are into that sort of thing as you will more than likely not be disappointed.
Late last week we finally completed the stroller experience. We tired of going back and forth over which one would be the best and made our decision to purchase a Phil and Ted’s stroller. We felt that this particular model would end up being the most practical. It is a stroller that is functional from infancy all the way through toddler and has the capacity to add an attachment that allows you to cleverly cart around two kids at once. The two kids at once feature is truly what sold us on this stroller along with it being a light jogger and having air filled tires for a smooth ride. Maya will hopefully love it and enjoy the many rides she will get. Now all we have to do is wait for it to arrive from New Zealand, be put together by Galt Baby/Toys, the mecca of baby merchandise, and then delivered to us ready to roll.
