Michelle and I often talk about how lucky we are in life. The above video is a testament to our good fortune. Because we grew up so close to one another, Michelle and I are able to visit both sides of the family during most holidays. Let me just say that there is never a dull moment when Brucy and Marti book-end Nikki and start the best rendition of “There’s a hole in my bucket” or “Dear Liza” whichever is the actual name of the song. Ohh, and yes, that thing Brucy is holding is a guitar and he’s singing into a microphone that I fashioned out of the erector set Saegan got for Christmas. In the immortal mold of a Mastercard commercial:
Ingredients for homemade pear/crandberry pie - $15
Erector set with parts for guitar and microphone - $25
Gas to get home for the holidays - $35
Presents for all of the kiddies - $200
Posting a video of your in-laws being goofy on your blog - PRICELESS
Before this happened, I hadn’t laughed so hard since I can’t remember when. This video is YouTube worthy if I have ever seen one. What makes this all that much better is that this set of in-laws just got a home computer for the first time over Christmas and can now see these crazy things online....it’s the little things in life that count....til next time...
